The Complete Course in Piano Technology - Tuning and Technical Skills

• Full Tuition: $3290 or Payment plan of $195 a month for 18 months
• Tools can be purchased separately from a Piano Supply company. Basic tools for the Tuning Course are about $225, and basic tools for the Technical Course begin at about $350. Grand and Vertical Action models, if you choose to use them, can be borrowed from the local chapter of the Piano Technicians Guild if you’re a member, or they can be purchased directly from the Piano Technicians Guild.
  Some piano technology schools and courses like to use Grand and Vertical Action models. We prefer to teach action regulation on your piano. What better way to learn?

• Tools can be purchased separately from a Piano Supply company. Basic tools for the Tuning Course are about $225, and basic tools for the Technical Course begin at about $350. Often, the local chapter of the Piano Technicians Guild can loan you vertical and/or grand action models if you’re a member and they have them. Or they can be purchased directly from the Piano Technicians Guild. However, we prefer that you use your own piano to apply what you learn in the repair and regulation part of the course.

Aural Tuning Course for Members of PTG preparing to take their Certifcation Exams

This course is only available to those members of the Piano Technicians Guild that wish to take their aural tuning certification exam and have already passed their written and technical exams.

• Includes written materials in an online format and access to our online tuning video library.
• Phone and email consultations are included in the tuition fee.
